40 Years of the Art and Science of Gardening
The principal of Mosaic Gardens, Jon Houghton founded the business in 1990 following a decade in the gardening industry.

Firstly working as an ex-pat landscaper in the United Kingdom, then gaining a Bachelor of Applied Science Melbourne University Burnley campus, he became head gardener at the world-renowned 10-acre garden Bolobek, Macedon. A stint in the Adelaide offices of Landscape Architects Cielens and Wark followed.
He lists his teachers at Burnley, Bolobek’s Joan Law- Smith, mid 20th Century Californian Landscape Architect Thomas Church, Adelaide’s Viesturs Cielens and Mother Nature herself as his greatest inspirations.

Mosaic Gardens brings strong design and cultural strengths along with practical skills to the art and science of design, development and maintenance of a wide variety of gardens.
